The NCYVL is hiring! We’re actively looking for upbeat, passionate people who are committed to helping kids have fun, gain valuable life skills, and learn volleyball.

Currently, we’re looking to fill the following positions:

Team Coach

Team Coaches are responsible for general team management, player & team instruction with the support of the site’s Lead Coach, as well as coaching the team in local tournament events.

Time Commitment: 3 – 6 hours per week
Compensation: Paid hourly, based on experience

Lead Coach

Lead Coaches are responsible for overseeing and supporting the Team and Volunteer Coaches at their local site with practice planning, skill training, and overall session organization. Previous volleyball experience is required for this position.

Time Commitment: 12 – 15 hours per week
Compensation: Paid hourly, based on experience

Site Director

Site Directors are responsible for managing their local NCYVL site to ensure proper program operation and organization in accordance with the NCYVL’s policies and procedures. Each Site Director works directly with the main office to plan area programming, secure local facilities, and help communicate upcoming programs with local residents.

Time Commitment: 5 – 8 hours per week
Compensation: Pay is relative to site size and operation

Volunteer

Volunteers are the lifeblood of the NCYVL and are needed in virtually every aspect of operation. Potential duties include: helping NCYVL staff with player instruction, drills, tournament operation, and site setup/take-down. No experience necessary.

Time Commitment: 1.5 – 2.5 hours per week

High School / College Student (Community Service Hours)

Looking for community service hours? Love volleyball and working with kids? Join the NCYVL as a volunteer and earn community service hours while doing something you love!

Time Commitment: 1.5 – 2.5+ hours per week
